Wetland Maintenance Technicians

HENDERSON LLC, a progressive aquatic science and habitat restoration leader in the Pacific Northwest, seeks Wetland Maintenance Technicians for work out of our Lake Oswego, Oregon office.  Successful candidates will possess personal and professional interests that integrate into our team’s natural systems restoration efforts.  This is a non-exempt, full-time seasonal (limited) position reporting to HENDERSON project managers.  Hourly compensation is commensurate with required project pay rates, starting at a minimum of $15/hour.  Compensation may be subject to state/federal prevailing wage rules if applicable to individual projects.  HENDERSON is an EEO/AA employer.

Required Skills

  • Work Ethic: reliable, team-oriented work ethic and dedication to work schedule.
  • Self-directed: work independently as well as within a small project team, largely self-directed to meet or exceed project maintenance requirements.
  • Physical Ability: safely lift 30+ lbs. as a consistent part of the work day in performance of project duties.
  • Communication: have access to a cell phone, communicate well and in a timely manner within the project team and with the project manager(s).
  • Equipment Management: safely operate wetland maintenance and irrigation equipment, as well as to safely tow and position a work trailer.
  • Valid Driver’s License: must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Approximate Seasonal Employment Window

  • Approximately 40 hours per work week (weather and site condition dependent) starting approximately May 15th through September 15th, with possible part-time continuing work for a candidate with an accommodating schedule.
