Permitting

HENDERSON Environmental Design-Build Professionals are highly experienced in federal, state, and local permitting.  Our professionals have developed strong working relationships with regional land management agencies, generating effective and efficient issuance of required permits.  Project types permitted include levee building and breaching, fish passage improvement, tidal slough excavation, large wood installation, invasive species management, off-channel fish refugia, estuarine plant community diversity and structural restoration, and signage installation.  We also have experience gaining U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 408 permit approval. HENDERSON’s design and construction efforts are done in accordance with permitting guidelines, developed from our 19 years’ of experience as a leader in aquatic restoration design and construction.
